How did your local daily papers treat the Clarke revelations?

I live in Cleveland, OH. The Cleveland Plain Dealer relegated it to 3rd page status and just a small AP wire story in the middle of the page.
On the front page we were treated to HUGE headlines and full color picture on the killing of Sheik Ahmed Yassin and a story that was big enough to be continued on another page.

I have a feeling that the Clarke thing is going to 'go away' just like the multiple other Bush failures and scandals. Of course thanks to our media nation... Manufactured Consent.

1. Philadelphia Daily News. Page 18.

Medium block surrounded by ads. I can see the Veteran's Stadium implosion getting front page but this should have at least been page 3 and more with huge headlines. Liberal media my ass. :kick:

2. I did not see the Cincinnati Enquirer...

but as this is a pro * and conservative rag, my guess is it received the same treatment. However, I disagree that this story is going to go away in light of the hearings and the increase in those that believe * lied us into war.

4. Gainesville Sun - front page left column. Orlando Sentinel - page 3?

I refuse to buy the Florida Times Union so I couldn't tell you that one.

5. New York Times had it back in the political pages of section one....

Important front page stories included mechanization of orange tree harvesting, "under God" pledge of allegiance Supreme court case, and a corrupt police detective story.

Revealing the details, it was riviting. Many Pubs here went "Gulp"

8. Washington Post and USA Today -- front page!!!

Those are the biggies. When USA Today puts it on the front page, it's getting exposure.

9. Badly

The Cape Cod Times put it on A-5 on Monday, middle of the page, with only 10 inches or so from the wire story.

Behind such stories as the BC men losing in the tournament.

Today, nothing. We needed to devote many column inches to Governor Mitt visiting Hyannis.

I'm not sure if the paper is left or right -- but it's a royally bad newspaper, with stupid, simplistic editorials. My husband reports for a weekly and they frequently scoop this daily.
