Everything raised in the hearings has been hashed and rehashed in private and we're just seeing a polite public show. Fair enough. Even the Watergate hearings elicited nothing that wasn't known in advance. (The White House taping bombshell, for example, was known before the testimony and the testimony was a show to give it a public face.)

I expect the official findings will be less cordial. I hope they hit the Clinton admin hard; otherwise equally hard hits on Bush will be unfairly dismissed as "partisan."
