*bush is really scared.....Pre-empting the 911-Hearings
I have my tube on CNN and stepped away a minute...When I come back, *bush is talking about how he is going after terror.....

He is trying to detract from the 911 Hearings in my opinion.....he must really be taken off his game by this!

1. I agree!
They know the dam is breaking, that Clarke has credibility and their attacks are not working. What little hair Rove has left is no doubt being pulled out as we post!

16. What else would expect from a Soviet-style Proganda Outlet?
Next thing you know, you're going to be looking for the truth on Chinese Communist Media.

9. No Live covered or no covered at all?
I wouldn't expect them to cover the whole thing live as it is available on C-Span and NPR.

As arrogant and transparent as Hitler or Stalin. I suppose we can be thankful they aren't as violent and brutal (yet).

4. I cannot remember the Nixon administration being this defensive
And all they can do is attack Clarke's credibility and motives?

It seems like there is a pattern, with O'Neill and now Clarke. Both criticize BushCo for being fanatical for undermining Irak from day 1, and BushCo criticizes both for having credibility problems and ulterior motives.

Just a guess, but where there's smoke, there's probably fire.

6. Its not Terrorism, its Loloism. Bush is a Lolo and he knows it
not only that, he is lazy too, too lazy to listen to good advice, counseling. He is now paying that price. The House of Cards are half way down.

You have hit upon it. there is indeed a pattern and we need to make people understand that. Both Krugman and Daschel came out today with statements or articles aluding to the same thing.

17. Foreigners are allowed to see it; Imperial Subjects are not
Just like any other Totalitarian Nation, though we do stack up pretty well for the moment against the worlds OTHER Tyrannies for the moment.

I wouldn't lay odds on being able to say that during the reign of Emperor Ahnold.

12. How odd.. He claims that he doesn't watch tv
Edited on Tue Mar-23-04 02:46 PM by SoCalDem

What I would love to see is this scenario....

GWB locked in a room with the families..and he cannot leave until THEY say he can..

That would be the catharsis they need..

and it would be ok with me is they had some "boppa-bats"...

24. I hate to be the one to break it to you but when he said that he was lying
From an article shortly after the Bush Invasion of Iraq began:
. . .

The president reads newspapers first thing in the morning, flipping through some of them while he's still in the White House residence instead of waiting for clippings assembled by aides. Through the day, he regularly watches war coverage on the nearest TV, which is in the private dining room next to the Oval Office. He knows when heavy bombardments of Baghdad are scheduled and sometimes tunes in to see them.

. . .
http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2003-04-01-bush-cover_x.htm

And from a recent Bushshit speech:
And then we marched to war. I made the tough decision of war. And I want to thank the members of Congress who made the tough vote on war. It's not easy. But we acted because of the lessons of September the 11th. We acted based upon the facts. We acted to make the country more secure and the world more free. But when you're marching to war, it's tough on the economy. For this reason, the message, march to war, is not conducive for optimistic investment. Marching to war is negative, not positive. It's hard to be optimistic about the future when you look on your TV screen and it says, America is marching to war. Now we're marching to peace and freedom.

The more * and thugs have to come out and CYA over 9/11, the less time they have to attack Kerry.

Keep THEM on the defensive. That's the ticket.
