Cohen pre-empted by Bush saying nothing but self promotion.
As Cohen was saying that Clinton was the best and most competent anti-terror president we ever had and that the Republican Congress fought him tooth and nail for anything relating to anti-terror efforts, the news tramps cut away to Bush saying that he was and is the best thing since sliced bread to combat terrorism.

Coincidence? I think not.

worried about it. There's only so much they can control.

5. CNN never points out that Cohen is a Repub....The fact that he is and yet
goes out of his way to point out Clinton's competence is an important fact....CNN always shows the party affiliation of every speaker...but not Cohen....Isn't that strange?....I wonder why?

11. Yes, Cohen is a repub
He also hails from our fair state of Maine, and is one of the most decent, honorable human beings we've ever been lucky enough to have serve in our government.
Cohen is old school repub...that is, a real statesman, not a wingnut like the current crop.

12. He isn't defending Clinton so much as himself ~ He was Sec of Defense
under Clinton. so anything related to defense is directly related to him as well.

14. I disagree....He said Clinton never let the impeachment thing in any way
effect how he was governing....He had good things to say about Clinton....He could have made himself look good without praising Clinton....IMO

15. Because CNN stands for CIA News Network
WHATEVER it is, it is a tool of the Busheviks, like all Pravda in Imperial Amerika.

7. have you noticed a difference in testimony style??
Yes, I'm partisan, but: Albright, Cohen, etc., all seemed so speak w/strong specificity and engagement, where Colin sounded so dang defensive, etc...

I think it's clear that the Clintonians, for all the problems and things of "shoulda, woulda, coulda", were far more engaged.

Bob Kerrey is mad at everyone, clearly.
