Enough already...I've heard that term at least two dozen times today - 10 of them from Rumsferatu in the last 10 minutes.

Seymour Hersh used it as the title of a NewYorker article last fall. They created 'stovepipes' to get information back to the president, in order to build up their intelligence in a way that painted the picture to their liking- as in: Saddam = al Qaeda = 9/11.
