Has it Ever Been This Bumpy for BushCo? (Post 9-11)?
Edited on Tue Mar-23-04 06:19 PM by Stevendsmith
It has been a remarkable few days, beginning with Clarke's appearance on 60 Minutes.

I'm quite enjoying this. I hope it doesn't peeter out through the news cycle.

On Edit: Of course, the tragedy of the past 3+ years far outweighs any enjoyment I take in watching these pigs squirm.

1. I agree
I've actually been able to sit back and laugh at them for a little bit...but then i remember that what I'm laughing at is all the disgusting shit they have been doing and i don't find it as funny...

4. You said it...hard to take any satisfaction from the imminent downfall of
this sorry sack of crooked liars, when one realizes all the damage they have done to our nation, our Constitution, our troops, our citizens, our civil rights...
Please, God, just don't let the little imposter stack the Courts any more tightly with right-wing looneytunes before we re-defeat him....

2. It will
The real danger is that Bushco is going to run out of staffer with even modest principles. So far, they've given us a steady stream of people who found Bushco's behavior so far over the top and so inimical to American interests that they've quit and come forward. As team Bush becomes ever more isolated and ideologically pure, this supply will inevitably dry up. The question is whether they've made enough hiring mistakes to sink themselves.

I'm willing to bet they have. After all, men this thoroughly blinded by ideology and rigidly hierarchical enough to forego their own interests are very hard to find and keep.

3. Then why are latest polls showing Bush over Kerry?
Is it because of the negative attack ads? Will Kerry get a bump next polling cycle?

Actually, Bush has had pretty much bad news the entire year yet he is ahead or even with Kerry now. Not a good sign.

5. The teflon is wearing thin...when you surround yourself with the amount of
shit that this administration does, it is bound to start sticking to you sooner or later...

6. there are just so many people out there who have no idea or
dont believe it. I live in NYC but i'm from Nashville and when i go home to visit it is crazy the number of people who still think Iraq was connected to 9/11...

7. Because we're 7 months out and
Bush is the incumbent.

But its only by a few percentage points. That's why the Bushies are poopin' bricks right now and had to come out negative against Kerry already. It really is looking good for us.

It's damn fertile ground to beat these guys in November.

Chin up.

Stay focused.

We will do this!
