Um, ok. "Destroyed?" That's a pretty strong word. Tell me, how many young women's lives were destroyed before the decision? You know, when they were getting coat hanger abortions in back alleys because it was illegal to do so in a doctor's office.
I'm not sure what makes you think you have the right to decide what a woman does with her body, but it must be a pretty twisted reason. I also am unclear as to why you think you have the right to decide when life begins (For me, I think it's when the umbilical cord is cut).This whole attempt at overturning Roe kinda reminds me of Prohibition-and we all know what a smashing success that was.

As for Susan B. Anthony, she must be rolling around in her grave at the knowledge that people like you are trying to carry on the feminist tradition. If you want "compassion for women," as you so ardently stated, then why not give them the choice as to what they want to do to their own bodies?

Your motto puzzles me as well. If they feel they have no choice, then why would you want to make a law that makes sure they have no choice?

Please do not misinterpret this as a statement supporting freeperdom, as abortion is about the only thing where I would even CONSIDER, much less agree with, a freeper's arguments.

And about Roe, the Supreme Court has spoken. However, a fetus can be viable earlier now compared to the 1960's due to advances in medical technology. As for when 'life' starts, I think this is at least worthy of consideration.

that goes too far. for one thing, fathers may not carry the fetus, but it's a bit much to imply that they're completely irrelevant.

more importantly, why should an ethicist have more say about, say, my daughter's or my wife's pregnancy than me, just because the ethicist is female? what if the ethicist is barren? how does that qualify her in a way that a male ethicist is not qualified?

Sometimes. Use a large knitting needle. Sterilize it. Make a very clean field. Put it into the vagina and through the cervix. This was easier done with a speculum and a flashlight or lamp. Not too far, once you got into the uterus. Then give it a stir around, and not too hard. Just enough to touch the inside of the uterus all around. This would usually disturb the endometrium enough to stop any implanted fertilized egg from remaining.

Then, the embryo would be shed as the woman had an immediate menstrual period.
