Cheney says deficits don't matter. He sounds like my wife when she asks me why I pay my credit cards in full when I get the bill. Democrats are the true party of fiscal conservitism we here at DU are tired of the corporate and elite rich handouts that have been given huge breaks under this administration. Finally it has hit home how many referendums do you have on your ballot?

1. True. And, if we looked at the tax increase ... 150%?!!!!

Note: For every $10,000 we send to the IRS, Bush and Republican Congress are spending $12,500. That's a 25% TAX INCREASE.

WORSE: That borrowed money will cost more than the $2,500 borrowed. This borrowing is projected for 15 years, not paying it back in 15 years, continued borrowing for 15 years.

ASTONISHING: If we pay it back after 30 years, and borrow at 1%, add 15% for a 40% tax increase.

MIND BLOWING: Again if 30 years, at 7%, add ... 126% for a TAX INCREASE OF 150% by Republicans for giving the wealthy a tax cut and using our military to check the teeth of a toothless tiger.
