Those 'focus groups' that went out to protest against Bush* and his war were made up of everyday citizens. Hardly the fringe. I don't know what the ratio is between those who went out to protest and those who supported but did not or could not protest is - but I'm betting that ratio is pretty damn high.

Margaret Carlson excused the press not asking questions *before* the war by claiming that as reporters they had to report what other people were saying, and that the Dems weren't asking the quesions. It was pathetic and sickening. (Not that anyone expects much from MC.)Sure there were divisions among the Dems, but plenty of voices got ignored--and not only ours.

(The panel is worth watching though--the audience was terrific, and Joe Wilson and a guy from Carnegie were excellent--it'll be repeated a few times tonight on c-span)

16. I can't help but remember the MILLIONS of protesters

who were in the streets protesting that damn invasion. The problem as "I" see it is, they're scared shitless! They saw the protesters too and they know damn good and well that the anti-war force is a formidable one.......they're talking crap to the masses who don't have a brain...you know, the ones who LOVE the shrub.....I think they're running scared. Think of all of those MILLIONS of protesters and then throw in the anti-war people who DIDN"T go to the streets, like me, my parents, my sister, my brother, my niece, and some of my friends!
