at least since the days of Spiro Agnew, but they don't really believe it any more than you or I do. They just keep working the refs to push news coverage ever further in their direction.

It's only republican leaders and conservative talk show hosts talk show hosts that are against the Fairness Doctrine. They know that the media is right wing.

Your average republican/conservative does not even know what the Fairness Doctrine is, and they are the ones that believe in the liberal media myth.

this is a concept that, insofar it is not totallly foriegn to the right wing, is one that they cannot accept, and will not stand for.
