Sam Brownback's opponent, on his website. http://www.howardstern.com/

It's the first link under "stuff to know".

I've written him a couple of times now about the fact that he is in a reelection year and his seat is relatively competative but that his opponent faces a money dissadvantage.

This is according to www.marksfriggin.com from today(I didn't catch the show) "Gary mentioned this senator Brownback who is behind this bill. Howard took a call from a guy who said that Brownback is trying to get a bill passed that would say that people who go to other countries where stem cell research is done, might be held as criminals if they tried to get back into the country. Howard said that this guy is really dangerous and is behind a lot of useless issues. There's a woman who is going up against Brownback and she needs some money to help her campaign. Howard said he has links for heron his web site as well."

BTW Brownback is the nutball who threatened Mel Karmazin with a letter asking him why he didn't fire Stern.

2. Listen to Howard live on the Internet here..
Unlike some DUers who boast about having access to a live Internet feed then refusing to share its location I spread the love. ;-)

3. If you know anybody in the markets that he's in
who's knowledgable about computers, you can have them put a phone line reciever onto or in the radio, and listen to it that way. That's the only way I know of. I have a former co-worker who does has that set up most days that I listen to over my phone-internet program. I'm on DSL now, but he's on dial-up, so if more than 2 people try to listen over that feed it breaks it up and you can't listen. I'm not even quite sure how he sets it up in Boston.

4. Woo Hoo!
We are working hard to get rid of Sam. Good for HS, I am sure she will be happy to have his support, I know those of us who have him as our Senator are happy to have him support her.
