Wingnuts say Clinton led Ossama get away, what excuse does Bush have
Edited on Wed Mar-24-04 01:13 PM by Mountainman
for not getting Ossama after 9/11? It's going on 3 years and yet Bush has not captured Ossama. Why was it so easy for Clinton but now it is hard for Bush to do?

BushCo says they had bad intelligence and that's why they did not prevent 9/11 but Clinton had good enough intelligence to get Ossama prior to Jan 01 so it is Clinton's fault that 9/11 happened because he did not get Ossama. What changed to make Clinton's good enough intelligence poor intelligence for Bush. They both had the same CIA and FBI.

Also I heard a repub say yesterday that getting Ossama would not have necessarily prevented 9/11 from happening. If so why is 9/11 Clinton's fault because he did not get Ossama?

On Iraq they say Bush had the same intelligence that Clinton had but on Ossama they did not have the same intelligence? I don't get it!

1. Sounds like it was the CIA, not Clinton, that let bin Laden go.

In addition, how could Bush be off the hook because he didn't have enough intelligence to go after bin Laden, when he dismantled the process that would have given him the opportunites to get him?

2. They want their cake & eat it, too ...
... if Clinton would have "taken out" bin Laden, they would have had a fit because he went after Bu$h family business associates.

Does "wag the dog" ring any bells? How many times did they cry that when Clinton tried to be tough? They were too interested in the sexy details to worry about real terrorists.

The mocked him for blowing up an "aspirin" factory and bombing some caves and camel butts!

Remember all the paranoia about Y2K? Weren't several attacks actually uncovered and thwarted?

They had the same CIA & FBI "intelligence" and ignored it. They blew it and are frantic to find an excuse to spin that will stick.

3. The same excuse they always have-it's Clinton's fault
Take responsibility for once in your life, George.
