What do your republican friends think fascism looks like?...
Do they realize how fascism emerges incrementally? Do think fascism ONLY looks like or MUST look like Adolph Hitler? How does fascism arise from an otherwise "free" society?...I know I've asked many questions but I feel they need to be investigated.

Fascism doesn't happen overnight my friends. It happens in steps, usually with a pretext of an "emergency". Sound familiar?

Look at what has happened to us since the election of 2000.
A controversial election to be sure. Is it the first one? No. Other than the 1876 election, many people would argue that Kennedy "stole" the 1960 election. But having said that, The election of 2000 was peculiar. We all know the details so no need to go into it.

*Stolen election.
*Decade long plan to invade Iraq (PNAC)
*Pretext of 9/11 to launch sinister oil grab plan.
*Patriot Act enacted in a state of panic.
*Lies about intelligence.
*Manipulating of the democratic process to make war.
*A purging of military brass at the Pentagon.
*Enhanced Patriot Act powers sought.
*Color coded alert system put in place to 1.)keep the public on edge and 2) Act as a diversion when the "liberal media" gets too close to the truth.
*Controversial Touch Screen Voting issue starting to emerge (visions of a corrupted future election)

1. Many emphasize the "Socialist" part of the Nazi moniker
As bizzare as that seems, forget them they cannot be reached

2. Tell them this...
They are about as much "socialist" as Stalin's Soviet Union was a "People's Democratic republic"...It's all window dressing. No more so than the United States is a "democracy". Fascism is corporate control of government and media and that is pretty much what we have.

3. The face of fascism
In the eyes of most Republicans, looks a lot like Hillary Clinton.

To them it is someone they abhor gaining political popularity and power.

These are not bright people.

5. Read "It Can't Happen Here"
by Sinclair Lewis.
Set in 1936, it shows the rise of American Fascism. The Fascist is ELECTED because the anti-fascists split thier vote between 3 candidates (FDR, Socialist, Communist)!
