Dick Clarke, I wouldn't marry him but I'd date him.

running for president? I'd vote for her and date her anytime as well.

(Ex Senator, Democratic presidential candidate and Vice President Walter Mondale's daughter, named after another great Democrat and wife of the great FDR, Eleanor Roosevelt).

27. I hope you weren't offended by what I said what I was attempting to convey
is that we as americans are generally use to our elected leaders being less then honest. I think that's a little generous. But it is so out of the ordinary for someone in government to even admit they screw up with out a court order to do so that I think most of us would tend to appreaciate their honesty even enough to forget we don't agree with them on all points.

who love their country above their party. It is all these "loyal" to shrub GOPers I wanna bonk on the head a few hundred times.

15. That seeming small proportion
That seeming small proportion of modern GOPers who love their country more than tax cuts and Bush are alright. Can you imagine how they feel in that party now?

17. Real old time GOPers are as frustrated and worried as we are
But the rabid right fundies and the corporate elitists have over-whelmed us all.

You go Richard Clarke, you go. Imagine his frustration while working in his position knowing that something big and bad is coming and Bush is off having a vacation.

13. Clarke is absolutely brilliant and deserves a medal
We learned about him in school. He has done sooooo much to fight terrorism over the years and stopped attacks that no one ever hears about. He has pushed for stronger security measures and so on. The Republican congress during Clinton's time felt it was not necessary.

Clarke is a true American patriot and the ONLY one to apologize for 9/11. His apology doesn't mean guilt btw. It was for the general failure of the US government to stop the attack.

16. None of the Reptiles in his own party...
are able to shake him! He just shut Jim Thompson up when Thompson accused him of differentiating on things in his book as to what he is telling the panel! Clarke accused him of trying to play politics...and Thompson said he isn't a Washington insider, just a guy from the midwest! What a clown!
