Has Bush* ever apologized about ANYTHING
Honestly, I can't think of a time the boy king ever apologized, ever. It was so great to see Clarke actually apologize to the American people. Bush has done nothing be evade responsibility and pass the buck...what a coward he is...

4. The Great Exucuse President Elect
Nope, he doesn't have to say sorry to anybody, he's the president. And he doesn't have to explain why he doesn't have to explain why he isn't sorry!

7. Never
He has never had to apologize for anything in his life. He has never known remorse. He has never known fear. He has never known want. He has never had to work hard for a goal. He has never worried about how to pay the bills. He has never known disappointment. In short, he has never grown CHARACTER. What an empty, empty existence that must be.

On his fake ranch where he likes to cut brush. Let him do it when his life and family's lives are dependent on his making a living on a ranch.

14. That should be proof enough against these fundie
Character Development programs they want to put in the schools. If you didn't learn it at home, by example, by going through it - odds are pretty good you won't learn it that way either.

24. both of them--Laura is being touted as the great National comforter
Edited on Wed Mar-24-04 05:14 PM by Marianne
Ugh please--she had nothing, worked for a couple of years, went to school and then threw it all away, including the money invested in this education, after marrying into Bush fame and money.

Essentially her investments in her education were in vain. She latched on to money and family name and enjoyed all the little mexican housekeepers that did her housework for her. You can bet she loves it.

AFte five years and no kids arrived, she became pregnant with twins. And birthed them by C section.

And so therefore, she fulfilled her obligation--or did she? No male heirs to carry on the Bush name -- only two girls.

I am wiling to bet that the prick holds it against her that she birthed two females , instead of two males. And further it appears she did nothing after that to try again to birth some males.

Knowing the Bush family this is not some far out theory.

25. Bar Bush sure holds it against her ...
Even lets it show in public. W's mom, during an interview, made a backhanded remark about how one might expect Laura to be "rotten" since she's an only child. What a supportive mother-in-law -- completely insensitive to the fact that some people are medically unable to have any more kids -- like Laura. Bar was probably hoping for a male child who could turn out better than Georgie.

Bar had already driven away one supposedly-undesirable woman from her precious first son ... George W.'s fiancee was Jewish, and Bar was so unkind to her that she broke the engagement rather than go on in such a poisonous atmosphere. I think it's quite revealing that Georgie didn't speak up on her behalf, let alone run off with her to get away from his horrible family. (That would have meant forfeiting his inheritance, of course.)

8. When you've never had to
assume responsibility for doing anything wrong, you never have to apologize. Daddy bailed his sorry ass out of every problem up to the day that daddy's buddy's installed him in the White House. Why would he change now after 50 + years of his sorry existence?

Totalitarians Don't Apologize!

Might as well wait for Hitler and Stalin to apologize to those they've wronged as the boy-King.

Not gonna happen.

Ever.

10. Dumbya apologized for trading Sammy Sosa to the Cubs
Dumbya had Sammy Sosa as the owner of the Rangers and traded him away. I've seen him apologize for that.

That's the only screw-up I've seen him make that he seemed sorry about and he apologized for.

"Bush apologizes to Afghan leader Karzai"
"Bush also apologized for the way Karzai was treated by senators who grilled him on the situation in Afghanistan during an appearance in late February before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in Washington.

Bush "said he was sorry it happened, even though he had nothing to do with it."

"As George W. Bush both apologized for and explained a youthful drunken-driving arrest, both voters and analysts said today the issue won't haunt him on Election Day."

"While in Japan, Bush caused a monetary crisis by saying that he felt the Yen should be devalued, rather than it was going through deflation. Japan's stock market reacted to this statement by dropping faster than the grammar skills of your average Rikki Lake audience. Bush apologized for the misstatement and said that next time he came to Japan, he would just throw up, rather than say anything, since hurling his cookies worked so well for his father."

19. Yes! Once, at least...
The book, "Bush's Brain" reports that Bush apologized to Cardinal John O'Connor after he had offended Catholics (and lost the 2000 Michigan primary therefor) by visiting Bob Jones University.

Bush, with Rove's hand in his back, wrote:

"On reflection, I should have been more clear in disassociating myself from anti-Catholic sentiment and racial prejudice. It was a missed opportunity causing needless offense, which I deeply regret."

In other words, I'm sorry I didn't not spit on you and I'm really sorry you took it the wrong way.
