Its getting to the point where its obvious that the media outlets are covering for and pumping up bu$h showing zero journalistic integrity at all. Just look at the likes of Wolf Blitzer, Zahn, Woodruff, MSNBC, Faux News... How long can they keep putting the dress on the pig without totally discrediting themselves when/if the bu$h administration "goes down"?

You would think that ratings could fall if they end up looking like state-controlled newsreaders who were whoring for the bad guys to the end.

My dad was a new journalist for 40+ years, and is rolling in his grave right about now. Before he died we warned me about "sensationalism" and "Pravda-like" journalism that seems to on the way in. He was right.

We have a hero with Clarke and now we need a hero in print and mostly on the airwaves. I hope that someone, some agency, comes out and just starts telling the truth with retrospect.

4. Maybe they'll turn on Bush
But it won't be a matter of integrity. The minute they can make more $$$ by bashing Bush, they'll dump all over him.

5. Just watched a Wolf and John King report...
and they BOTH downplayed everything that occurred today! John King was basically a foot soldier for Rice after leaving her press conference! This is amazing!

6. What needs to happen is
for folks like Geroge Soros and Peter B. Lewis to start dumping millions into think tanks and media outlets like Richard Mellon Scaife has done. Then, we wait 30 years and presto - media balance!

9. Perhaps Soros, Lewis, Ted Turner and other liberal/progressives
can pool their resources and either buy out or start their own TV news outlet and show a more truthful and objective form of journalism.
People might get tired of the bullshit they are being fed right now, realizing that they are being lied to, and turn to this style of reporting. It could counteract what is being shown now, possibly forcing those other corporate outlets to change their journalistic style, and go back to the truths.
Am I just a naive dreamer or could this be done?

8. Never!
n/t

"They" are not giving up. They own it all. Give it up and get mobilized. There is really no time left. We are going to get Bush, Inc. for four more years. The world is waiting...

We are going to be forced to pay.

Too many years of Bush, Inc., while "we the people stood by".

Sad state of affairs, we've let ourselves into.
