At least Daschle is sticking up for Clarke
After hearing LIEberman and Biden defending Bush's record and pissing on Richard Clarke's story, it's good to finally have a Democrat of note speak out in Clarke's defense. I imagine we will have more Democrats speak up for Clarke after his testimony at the 9/11 Commission today. I didn't see it but I heard he was spectacular.

Sorry if this is a dupe.

Reminded me that another prominent Dem defended Clarke first. Way to go Wes!

8. Doesn't she need more years of seniority for that?
She is going to have to win in NY at least one more election.

And Rudy is going to give her a hell of a time, especially considering Corporate TV Pravda is going to do it's usual thing when it gives coverage to a Bushevik like Guiliani against a Democrat...

9. Another reason why I doubt the Giuliani for VP rumors.
He's way too hungry for the chance to knock Clinton out of the Senate. Not that I think he'll be successful at it, but I think he'll get a lot more mileage out of portraying himself as a 9/11 hero than Dumbya ever could.

10. I highly doubt Giuliani will run for the Senate
He'd rather be governor (or president). Pataki might run against Hillary.

11. I thought I read a comment from Biden
where he backed Clarke. He said something like, "I'm more concerned about my granddaughter going to school in D.C. than I am about 10 Saddam Hussseins."
