Just Received my copy of “Worse than Watergate” by John Dean
Has anyone else read it?

The first page of the book:

Dean uses this quote to start the first chapter;
“The (Bush-Cheney) administration is the most secretive of our lifetime, even more secretive than the Nixon administration. They don’t believe the American people or Congress have any right to information.

--Larry Klayman, chairman Judicial Watch.

That is pretty hard sayings when it comes from a right-winger like Klayman.

Cannot wait to get into the book this evening. Although it will be preaching to the choir, maybe it will give me some information or insights.

The question that I keep asking myself is, what to hell do we do with all of this information? The books are churning our full of indictments of Bush and the Republicans, but, what do we do with the evidence?

1. Does this count as another Republican for Kerry?

3. I assume it is received mine in mail today.
So far Dean has, as he put it, served up an indictment of Bush. LOL

4. John Dean has been my hero since 1974...
I watched the Watergate hearings on TV as our high school Civics class in summer school...

5. If the book carries out what is laid out in the introduction
Dean is not going to be Bush's hero. LOL

8. Got the book last night. Already in Chapter 2...
very good. Lays out the salient points with exhaustive notes, but not every single instance of secrecy, deception and obfuscation.

Now on the Texas Rangers stadium deal. Spelled out more clearly than anywhere else I've seen.

Big surprise so far: (to me at least) George Soros was a part owner of HArkin.

Richardo (as Johnny Carson): "I did not know that!"

7. I got it Monday
along with 4 others including Blix'. ACK. How can one make time to read when the TV is so great this week?

Dean's whole focus is apparently how secretive Bush is.

Doesn't seem to me that Bush can counter that while he's out punishing anyone who speaks against him.
