Hey. Ain't Ashcroft Well Enough Yet to Get his grilling.
Seems like homey always silently hides out when the crap hits the fan.

You know, the kind of guy who hears about a threat to airplanes, stops taking flights, but doesn't warn anybody else about it. He hid out then and he's hiding out know.

Wonder when his barbeque is gonna take place. Going around covering up titties, and letting terists roam all over the place.

2. He'll be questoined next month, I think
They'll be concentrating on law enforcement starting April 13th. I assume Asscroft will testify.

3. Well maybe not
Clarke's book pg 256

"My associate asked me on the drive back to the White House, "He can't really be that slow can he? I mean, you can't get to be the Attorney General of the United States and be like that, right?"

I wasn't sure. "I don't know" I said. "Maybe he's just cagey, but after all he did lose a Senate reelection to a dead man"."

4. LOL! I'm reading the book now but hadn't gotten that far yet.
I liked near the beginning when he asked a Major who was that asshole answering the phone for you, and the man replied, "that would be the vice-president".

7. He does have a number of one liners
Some are serious but funny, like asking John O'Neill to check a phone book.

Enjoy....

5. This must be why he drinks so much.
Let's hope for a relapse, if he ever stopped.
