Why wasn`t Tenet asked this question?
Did you at any time warn Bush or Rice that there is a strong chance of Al Quada attacking this country soon? Since Bush and the others are saying that we had no knowledge of inpending attack on New York City, on 9/11, or the use of aircraft. Did anyone else notice that when they talk they always say New york, 9/11, and airplanes? that way they can say they didn`t lie because I don`t think anyone knew what date and time.

1. I think it's called "plausible deniability".

2. Who gave permission for the Saudis/BinLadens to fly...
out of the country on 911? That must be fully answered. Clarke said he didn't know who gave the final orders, but thinks it came from the Justice Dept or the White House. I was clapping and screaming when Commissioner Roemer asked the question.

Another point: One of the commissioners read from the bush book, Bush at War. Bush says in the book, he was not really interested in AlQuada. Later on TV, bush said that BinLaden was not important, was irrelevant (his favorite word).

3. They knew
...since April something was up. They had the 'signals' or 'noise' have you but there was no structure in place to tie it all together. That is why Clark asked Rice for an urgent Cabinet Level Meeting -- knowing that it would take getting all the big guns together if there was to be a chance of figuring out what the 'chatter' was all about. Clark knew this because this is what happened during the Clinton Administration and how the Millennium Plot was exposed. Clark was told it was inappropriate to schedule meetings with the "principals" -- in other words, she kicked him to the curb.
