Keep this in mind, re Richard Clarke: He has NEVER been a 'politician.'
Was originally in Reagan's employ and worked for every prez since.
He has no partisan axe to grind. Hell, he is primarily a Republican
(the kind of Republican exemplified by Goldwater and Lincoln.)

I'm an atheist, but I'll give this one a shot: "God, if you exist, keep this guy safe..."

We should all be proud today. Clark is able to voice our voice loudly over the planet. He's kicking the crap out of this despicable administration, and at the same time, apologizing for Americas failings. And America has been sorely lacking in humility for 3+ years.
