The jerk, Dick Clarke, has peeve because he was demoted. In eight years, the Clinton adminstration, and Claree, never developed a plan to elimiate al Qaida. In contrast, the Bush adminstratio developed such a plan in under eight months.

Nothing was more urgent to bubba than where he was going to get his next not sex bj.

Clarke will become the laughingstock of the country if they keep putting out his previous comments and compare them to his current utterings, sorta like Kerry whom he is supporting and advising. No politics in his book - ROFLMAO!

Like a wartime deserter, full of himself, striding into a hearing and denouncing the Medal-of-Honor winner as a pansy and a coward unfit to lead.

Democrats -- the pro-cowardice party.

Paul O'Neill and Dick Clarke are 2 strange ducks. Both of them look as if they are on day passes from the local mental facility.
And both look to be on mighty short fuses.
I'd hate to be the flight attendant who tells either of them, that smoking is no longer allowed on commercial aircraft."

Maniacs.

9. I just followed that link..
I'm stunned. Calling Dumbya the "King." Comparing Richard Clarke to a villain from the Matrix. Asserting that the 9/11 hearings are the beginning of an attempt by the commie left-wing to overthrow the government. Passionate belief in Faux news. Personal attacks on Clarke's speech, appearance and sanity. Wow, they really have some deep thinkers over there.

3. These people can't really believe what they're saying?
Can they? Their reality is completely inside-fucking-out. I honestly don't get it, how can such a large group of people (~45% according to most polls) be so delusional?

4. it's some sort of mass psychosis
I honestly believe Rush and Hannity and Fox News must be using subliminal BOW TO KING GEORGE messages. I don't know how people can be this ignorant.

12. I don't understand it either. It's a sad situation.
I’d like to dismiss it by saying it’s the water, but water doesn’t run red and blue according to the red/blue map. I don’t know what they fear that compels them to respond so crudely and without any thought process that would immediately justify their evaluation. Is it class warfare, money, education or something else?

I’m sure we can all see that these are not responses from an “upper crust” think tank. Those retorts tend to deflect and obscure the issue in a long-winded diversion rather than address the matter head on with real facts. Still, there’s an obvious lack of class in the response.

If it’s about money, then I’m still mystified. They obviously can afford a computer and an ISP. We’re not talking sharecroppers here, but I don’t think they’re land barons either. However, if they are misers, I’d think they’d be more outraged by the leadership that’s responsible for the overwhelming budget deficit, the phony-baloney prescription Medicare reform and the spiraling gas prices.

That brings me to education. I will sound like an elitist by saying that’s just part of the problem. It’s not a fair defense to just call your opponent stupid. I don’t think that they are. I think they are misguided. Something is jamming their reality. It’s a fundamental fear of something that seems to challenge the reality of their worldview.

It’s God. It’s their perception of God and their exclusive and moral superiority over anybody that doesn’t subscribe to the burning Bush. Meanwhile, he’s set the whole forest on fire around all of us. Anybody that tries to put it out is condemned as a traitor.

Will there be an epiphany? I’m not hopeful. If it does come, it will be in an act of martyrdom when they blow themselves up with the rest of us. Some might realize, “I’m dead and all got was this bloody T-shirt.” The rest of them will just think, “What a fag

When I get blown up I won’t be so analytical. I’ll be thinking, “You stupid morons.”

how about the way Clarke's mouth made that awful grimace on the second syllable of KEY words: to wit 'Condaleeza Rice comPLETEly (grimace)ignored what I was saying' ......struck me as somehow faMILiar....then I realized it was the same way aGENT SMITH enunciated his key words in The Matrix; begs the question, which came first, Richard Clarke or Agent Smith's characterisation of him? Maybe he IS aGENT Smith? is this but another case of postmodernism run amok? keep yer ammo dry boys and gals...

8. It's actually a well established Cheneyism
Clarke and Cheney could easily be brothers. Guess which brother is the evil one...
