Primetime Thursday (ABC) is going
to have a visit with Rummy tonight. How wonderful. <sarcasm>

The media whores are wasting no time trying to cover up Clarkes' testimony.

I can't watch. I can't bear to look at him. He makes me ill. But maybe some of you can stand it, and report in for us. :puke:

Also: maybe some of us should e-mail ABC and let them know that we are on to them.

1. Repugs are smothering the airwaves, leaving little time for Clarke's story
Take a good look and remind me that the media is liberal.

2. Yep CBS is evil
It's just crazy that they would have Donald Rumsfeld on the news during a huge story involving national security. What is he going to say that has any relevance on the Richard Clarke situation? If I were news director (or should that be "minister of propoganda" (no it shouldn't because if I were in charge I wouldn't propogandize)), there's no way I would let the Secretary of Defense on the air.

Seriously, though, if I were running ABC News and I got an offer from Rumsfeld (and let me assure I'm no fan) to appear, I don't know how I could turn it down.

DO you really believe an unbiased media would keep the Bush Administration off the air?

Finally look at the bright side--maybe he'll embarass himself again.

3. it sounds like ABC really likes Rummy
based on the promo I saw, this will be an infomercial, selling the old "sex symbol" product.

5. Yes...that was my biggest objection to the promo...to the whole thing.
McWethy talked about what a wonderful man Rummy is, on GMA this morning.

If it was going to be a professional rebuttal of the Clarke testimony rather than a big lovefest for Rummy, I might be more interested in it. The promos made it sound like a big propaganda piece.

I don't object to them having rummy on the air. I object to they way they seem to be handling the story.

4. I understand - there is a phrase that applies perfectly...
evil incarnate. That is my reaction when I hear him talk.

Genial smile - a little sparkle in the eyes - but the words and the intentions are from hell. He plays with the press and tries to impress them and make them laugh and has not one bit of concern about killing our children, maiming them, causing them to commit suicide, and causing them to live their lives with a ruined immune system or missing limbs and sight, hearing, etc. The lives of foreigners are of even less concern.

6. Did you see the commercial w/Rummy patting a horse?
Repugnant. This man should not be allowed to come within ten feet of such decent animals. Besides, he looks like a fish out of water in a horse stable. One thing Rummy isn't is a cowboy.
