3. all this attention to condi rice...
over the past few days has reminded me of a sign from the first big anti-war march here in NYC. During that protest, I saw a woman holding a sign that said "Condoleeza is a Skeeza!"

5. Does she look angry 'cause Huey and Ceasar haven't gotten her a date
yet? That's the only thing that I can come up with that might make her appear that angry.

Anything else she did knowingly and willingly.

6. Yep, she's a liar, but...
Edited on Thu Mar-25-04 10:47 AM by Ripley
Why is everyone out for her blood? She was not the end of the line. Neither is Powell (who also lied big time). All of the news should be focused on Smirkaholic. He is the War Time President not Condi or Colin.

This is becoming another Gipper story. Everyone focuses on the 2-bit crooks in the administration while the Boy King and Cheney yuk it up with the media at a black tie dinner smoking Cuban cigars.

All Kerry has to do is play the clips of Smirk's own words. "Adults. Accountability. Honor. Dignitiy. Humble. etc. ad nauseum." Where is Kerry?

8. You know power must corrupt absolutely.
Because when you read her background, you have to admire her. Is there some kind of hazing that goes on when people become Repukes, where they remove your conscience?

Mr. Chimpus hasn't a clue.

It's not as much fun with a dumb animal.

12. It seems that the Chimp...
is inordinately fond of Ms. Rice. Perhaps even to the point of unhealthy obsession. I've been coming across snippets in news items suggesting this fact ever since the fraud occupied the White House. Particularly telling was the fact that, when they snuck into Iraq together for the Thanksgiving fake turkey stunt, Bush later gushed that "we looked just like any other couple." Wishful thinking on his part? I wonder if there are any photos of him rubbing HER head for good luck?

Yes, I've noticed the Condi/George relationship seems a little to cozy myself. Pickles must be worried.

11. She's lying to cover up for herself and the end of the line that you refer
to. Bring her role into it and it will lead to Smirky and big Dick.

13. I wish.
But remember Oliver North? Reagan wasn't even touched, so what makes you think Condi getting indicted would hand over the smirking Chimp?

15. I remember Ollie and Fawn Hall very well.
My hope is that by aggressively going after Condi the end of the line will become more and more tainted. Perhaps people will begin to take another look at the cast of characters and think of their involvement in other "scandals".

I hope that the 9/11 families will make a difference this time, too.

17. Actually, I have to admit it,
even though I think she should go down for her role in all this, the whole Condi bashing thing is taking on shades of the Martha Stewart trial.

The ultimate responsibility lies squarely on Bush's shoulders.

20. what? Martha Stewart?
Edited on Thu Mar-25-04 02:49 PM by thebigidea
Rice was asleep at the switch, fucked up, then lied incessantly! Thousands are dead, and you're comparing it to Martha freakin' Stewart?

You're saying she doesn't deserve all this rancor for not testifying before the 9/11 commission? That she's somehow getting all this abuse because she's a woman, not due to her pathetic performance as "National Security Advisor"?

21. Chill out, man.
I am not comparing what they did, just that it seems like she's getting dumped on while certain people (Bush, Rummy, Powel Perle, the rest of the gang)whom I consider to be at LEAST as guilty, if not more so (due to the fact that seem to have orchestrated this disaster in the first place), seem to be getting much lighter treatment by both the administration and the press. The reason for the comparison?? Martha gets prosecuted - Kenny Boy, Kozlowski, and the rest of the Billionaire Boys Club are still living the high life, and it is looking like they will get away w/ a slap on the wrist. It's too early to tell how this will play out in Rice's case.

I am not saying two wrongs make a right and I am not saying she is not as guilty as sin, just that it appears that she is being set up to take the fall for the administration. I hope she goes down big time, but I hope she takes the rest of them with her.

23. There's plenty of time to attack Perle, et al.
right now, there's a certain NSA that refuses to testify. A bit of attention paid to dear Doctor Rice is in order, wouldn't you say?

24. Yes, I guess you're right. Condi first, then
the rest - they all need to go. I 'm just afraid if they get one person to take the fall, the rest of them will get off scot free. I want that smirk wiped off chimpy's face before November.
