I'm going to Protest Bush Today in Boston! THOUSANDS expected

He's in town for a $2,000 per plate fundraiser but can't appear at the 9-11 commission like CLinton and Gore.

United for Peace, Cambridge Friends, AFL-CIO, and other unions are organizing protests, but of course they have closed off all the streets around the hotel, which will fuck up traffic royally and inconvenience a great many cranky Bostonians. They even had to close A GRAMMAR SCHOOL because Mr. 'No Child Left Behind' is afraid of these little protesters!

I protested him when he was in Chicago for one of those fund-raisers. He was protected but some of the people who attended had to walk by us. Ugly things were said by both sides. Lucky the police remained in the middle.

I am wearing business clothes so maybe I can get close. The irony is that I'm going to a charitable benefit tomorrow night and may actually run into some of the idiots who paid $2000 a plate to see Busholini.
