Aviation Anti-Terror exercise was in progress on 9.11. Timing could not have been more perfect. Too perfect to have been strictly coincidental.

IF Rice et al were privy to a planned hijacking, what I want to know is who provided the operatives with the dates of Vigilant Guardian to piggyback onto?

I find it difficult to believe that terrorists "going to school on us" is sufficient explanation of hijackers knowing when a classified security exercise was on. Someone specifically told the operatives the optimum time and date of attack.

Being a classified exercise, the scheduled dates woould be known by very few, up until the last days before the exercise was to begin. If the leak was not from top level, then it didn't happen until very close to tuesday the eleventh. Which runs contrary to the assertion that "nothing could have been done" to prevent 9.11 since it was all planned and practically a done deal well before august/september 2001.

Who knew the dates of Vigilant Guardian?
