Bush just said: Had i known about the terror threats, Blah, blah, blah..
The incompetent boy king said today that had he known about the terrorists threat, he would have done everything possible to keep America safe, or words to that effect.

The problem is that they were warned by the Clinton's, Clarke, CIA and FBI intelligence that something like 9/11 was in the works. But you were to busy focusing on Iraq and cutting brush in Crawford with Condi.

Bush you were warned and you chose to ignore the war on terror because it was Clinton's war. You were warned and you had known, but were to incompetent to do anything about it.

I guess that surrounding your self with "the best people" doesn't make up for arrogant incompetence.

1. "I would've done everything possible EXCEPT"
"responding to Andy Card when he informed me of the 2nd plane hitting the 2nd tower, and said 'Amurica is under attack'."

6. Hey chimpy! It was your job to know! You blew it! Bye bye!
And whats so funny about lying to start a war that has killed 600 soldiers and countless innocent civilians?

His comments last night should be front and center for months to come, along with the "trifecta" remarks.

Watching uncle "chuckles" Rumsfeld was maddening today. Why do they think all this is so fucking funny?

How do you like your toast, smirky?

7. If the little bantam shithead had listened...
instead of trying to intimidate everyone around the world, then maybe he would have been able to stop the attacks. If he had realized that he was not hot shit, he was just a cold turd, then maybe he would have had the humility needed to understand the scope of his job. Maybe it's time to put him in a coop away from the big roosters in the yard...

8. This response (he's made a couple) has bugged me for a couple days
It's such a stupid statement. He basically is saying that if someone said "Hey, Pres, we just got a fax from bin Laden. He's got these guys trained and ready to fly. They are going to hit the WTC and Pentagon for openers. They are in meetings discussing a Sept. 11ish date. So, how do you feel about that, Mr Pres"!!! In other words what a "duh" statement. I'm sure he would have done something as would any president. The gist of the whole goddamn 9/11 probe is about how he was ignoring signs that a brighter animal might have been able to put together. Anyway, every time I hear him make this statement (and one like it)I just keep saying, "what a fucking dumb remark---that's suppose to be some kind of real deep statement???".

11. But he said with a real Texas style authoritative determenance.
And the republican crowd just about peed their pants as they applauded the fuhrer hysterically. it is obvious that they are only interested in politics and power, not the safety of the country.

18. There is a lot of stuff about pre 9/11 that has yet to come out.
if ever. While the 9/11 meeting are good, they are not good enough.

10. What was in the August 6, 2001 Intelligence Briefing ?
All he has to do to prove his statement is release the government documents he is hiding.....

I heard that Richard Clarke gave him the 8/6/01 intelligence briefing in Texas. Is this true?

Has anyone wondered what they censored in Clarke's book.....I mean what is in his book is damning enough---did they make him take anything out?

They scary thing is if they committed crimes, they will want to stay in power so badly they will be willing to commit more.

15. I still want to know why the Air Force was not protecting our air space:
a simple answer as to why our fighters were not up and escorting off-course airplanes would suffice.
