Sibel Edmonds story - recent mainstream coverage?
Edited on Thu Mar-25-04 05:55 PM by alarcoeg
I know about the Tom Flocco story and the old CBS news story, but has anyone seen recent mainstream coverage of this? How can we get the word out?

1. No - I have heard nothing recent
These are (some of) what google puts out:

2. Nothing yet, but...
I said yesterday when this broke that there would not be a peep about this from the corporate media, so it's not as if I am surprised. This is just too explosive. If the corporate media does not sit on it, it could cause the public to push for a real investigation, and not the kid gloves of Washington insiders. If that happened, allot of heads would roll, so... it won't. And you can count on that. If they do report it, they will do the same thing they did with Clarke's testimony, and gut all of the most powerful and disturbing testimony so it will look like she's just saying, "gosh, they made mistakes". Still, I am keeping an eye out. You never know if a story might slip past the editors on CNN or MSNBC. Of course, if that happens, it will be removed and tossed into the memory hole within an hour's time.

4. Good thing there are at least 3 more 911 Commission hearings...
...scheduled. This translator could be the next Richard Clarke, only three weeks from now. She's already been on 60 Minutes, so Breitweiser et al must know about it and may be pressing for her inclusion in a future hearing.

Infiltration of the FBI's translation department by foreign spies surely belongs on the agenda for a 9-11 Commission hearing on "Law Enforcement and the Intelligence Community", to be held starting April 13th.
