Bush's war chest?
Good Golly Miss Molly...!

It was just reported on our local NBC affiliate that Bush's war chest now has 110 million stockpiled, and Bush is off on yet ANOTHER fundraiser tonight. Meanwhile, Kerry's campaign is 7 million in the hole?!?!? WTF? Did I hear that correctly -- can anyone confirm?

Cripes, if this info is correct we have some major fundraising to do. All this money Bush has raised is making me nervous -- he's raking it in by the millions!

1. We're workin' on it
The Dem Dinner in DC tonight is slated to pull $10 million.

I think JK is off to Cali next week for a hell of a lot more money than that.

We'll do it.

5. Good luck!
And BTW, where the hell is Soros' money?

My partner and I are going to have to tighten our belts and find some more funds to donate. Kerry wasn't my first choice -- or my second choice for that matter (I reallydon't appreciate his cop-out stand on gay rights) but the thought of four more years of our current sociopathic moron scares the hell outta me.

2. Big Corporate donations really add up
but lots of small donations can beat that easily. Think how awesome it would be if 10 million Americans give like $20 each. Even though Bush gets free publicity from the media whores, Kerry can mop the floor with him if we get enough grass roots support.

3. So what?
I hate to say this, but there's three things to keep in mind:

One: Perfect talking point: Why does he need to buy the election?

Two: He's also spending millions already. These are not the most budget-concious people.

Three, and I really don't want this to come out wrong, so folks, don't take this the wrong way, it is absolutely not a slam on a certain candidate, but:

There was another candidate Kerry went up against who had a ton of money, remember? And Kerry made a huge comeback and beat him, too. Not saying it's at all the same, but...

8. I hear ya...
No offense taken. Kerry wasn't leading my hit parade, either, but just hearing how much GWB has amassed in his war chest has me nervous.

9. I second number two
They are blitz advertising here in New Mexico, considered a swing state. They are spending money hand over fist for five electoral votes.

At this rate, they'll be broke by the time they have their corona.. er, convention in September.

4. Luckily, dollars don't vote.

The supreme irony will be when the monetarily richest party in history is shown to be morally and financially bankrupt and totally devoid of ideas to address the needs of this country when they are wiped in November.

6. Big Money
A "big chest" is no use if you don't know how to use it.

This disparity can be used against the regime if the Kerry camp is nimble enough. They should point to this as a symbol of Bushie's true failings, his extreme focus on getting re-elected instead of running the country.

What does the President do while our soldiers sacrifice...he raises money?

What does the President do while our jobs go overseas...he raises money?

What does the President do while gas prices go through the roof...he raises money?

President Bush...a success at raising money...a failure at being President.

Big money can bring big problems. Bushie hasn't figured this out yet.
