...like what happened when FDR and Truman controlled the White House from 1932 to 1952. That is an awfully long time to wait to loot a country. Put the common folk did pretty good and the democratic party saw to that. Still, the re-thugs were grateful to have General MacArthur in there screwing with Korea (he wanted to drop the Big one :nuke: )and then bringing in Eisenhower to mess up things for 8 years. Yes, we had two recessions during Eisenhower's administration, but the military industrial complex got it's claws in the economy and it took off from there.

I was arguing the other day with a Repug and they kept talking about how much money we should keep spending on "defending America"
I finally had enough of his crap and said: Look pal, if we keep spending taxes on dropping bombs and starting wars, there won't be any reason for any country to attack America cause there won't be anything left here of any value. We'll wind up a bankrupt 2nd rate power.
