Politcal fallout for Bushler's UNBELIEVABLY stupid joke??
Could this sample post from mainstream Yahoo be indicative of it?? I now feel certain that Chimpy is well on his way to the biggest landslide loss in U.S. history!

3. good god
I've been reading for 10 minutes and so far I think I've seen exactly two pro-Bush posts (and those were tepid at best).

Interesting also that many there list their ages and gender, and a surprising number of men blasted Bunnypants. I don't think that Nascar Dads like such mockery in light of the American losses.

Thanks for posting this, it's fascinating. Hell, and here I thought WE hated the nut. They're really giving it to him over there.

7. biggest landslide loss? hmmm
I think people are becoming increasingly less bamboozled by Bush and his reckless mismanagement. But we still haven't seen their side's main attack kick into gear. It kinda feels like they're a little too slow getting out of the gate, but this is still only March. Rove and his attack machine still have plenty of time to gear up and throw sleaze at Kerry.

I'm starting to like Kerry more but he still strikes me as being a little slow on the rebound when it comes to throwing punches at the opposition. He fights kinda like John Wayne did in his old movies--five seconds for the wind up, two seconds for the delivery, and stand still for ten seconds while the dust settles. We need him to fight more like Jackie Chan: three punches per second and once you drop the bad guys you keep smacking 'em with a folding chair, tin pail, or whatever else you got lying around.

I'll settle for a close victory. I'll settle for the bastards being gone.

8. This won't be a pro-Kerry election - but an anti-Bush one!
Kerry doesn't have to do much to appear as an improvement upon the ignorant monster currently occupying the White House - and BIG majority is now aware of it! Having said that, additionally, Kerry happens to be a qualified, pretty damn impressive candidate.

11. "This won't be a pro-Kerry election"
i agree. without casting ANY negativity on Kerry but...

the unity (and INTERNATIONAL unity FWIW) is that it will be a solidy ANTI-bush vote.

(not your fault JK, just the facts Jack!)

12. And it's okay, too! Anti-Bush is going to be FAR stronger!
And unbeatable at this point! Take that, Rove bastard!

13. I'm not sure, either, frankly. Especially after reading a lot of those
posts. I saw quite a few more dump-on-Kerry and Kerry-Jane Fonda and liberals and anti-choice stuff than I'd expected.

I'm HOPING DESPERATELY for, and doing everything I can to bring about, a Kerry victory. But SHEESH, after this Richard Clarke week, people are STILL staunchly pro-bush out there!?!?!?

9. Excellent! Although it is completely unfathomable how anyone in the
military could vote Republican after the way the Republicans have treated them.

14. From the lost files of Franklin D. Roosevelt
(Excerpt from the President's appearance before the National Press Club, March 22, 1942)

President Roosevelt: It was a bit chilly that morning, and I turned to the vice president and said, "Henry, I believe there's a little nip in the air."

(Laughter)

(end of excerpt)

I'm sure no one would've minded. . .
