2. What a classy guy- Hard to beat since Bush was on VACATION
This guy is GOLDEN. Already the Admin. is on record saying "who could know they were going to use a plane as a missile" Bush was on vacation when the HIGHEST ALERT was ON and France, Germany, Israel and maybe others were sending messages that Al Queda was planning something big at home or abroad...then Condi made him CRISIS MANAGER on the 12 Sept. then they IMPLEMENTED his plan, and now they say he was "out of the loop" (Cheney on Limbaugh) or that he was demoted (he asked for a transfer to cyber security)probably because he was sick of working for WANKERS who only cared about a country to invade that had oil reserves. Hear that whistle in the air? Bush is going DOWN this guy is good. Solid republican too. I almost cried the first time I heard about him.

3. He's not really a Republican
I like him a lot and I wish he was a Republican because it would hurt Bush more but I'm pretty sure he's at best/worst a left-leaning Independent.

I've heard he voted for Bush against Gore in 2000, but I haven't seen him saying that, so I don't know the source. All I'm sure of is that he seems to have donated only to Democrats and voted for McCain in the 2000 Virginia Repub primary (you have to request which party ballot you want on election day and he took the Republican ballot, but Gore already had it wrapped up against Bradley at that time so I imagine many VA Democrats did the same. Hell, any good American would have had to vote against Bush after watching the South Carolina primary!)

I don't have any proof or links, but I've heard it a couple of times. Jon stewart said it on The Daily Show

12. Not registered, but voted Republican
We don't register by party in Virginia. However, the two parties can get printouts of voter patterns to ascertain who to target with either Dem or GOP literature and phone calls. :)

Huh?

I thought we had a secret ballot? Are you saying that it is a matter of public record who you voted for in Virginia?

:wtf:

19. A "left leaning indie"?
I don't think so. From descriptions I have heard about him from others, and from his own comments, he sounds like a straight ahead old-school Republican. The kind that existed before neocons. I haven't heard a single left leaning thing about him. He is acknowledged hawk on FP, for heavens sakes.

5. Thanks for the heads up
When Clarke testified, I was reminded of George C. Scott in Patton. I LOVE hearing what he has to say.

6. What interests me most about the MTP appearance
is that BushCo has OWNED that show. Any time they've wanted to spin something, they'd send in one of their people.

I am hoping against hope that this means the media worm is turning, and that the maladministration no longer owns MTP.
