Why the hell did so many Democrats vote for the Decency Enforcement Act?
I mean I'm reading this list and even McDermott from Seattle voted for it! What the hell are they thinking?

Giving more power to Powell and Clear Channel? Increasing fines to half a million? It's madness.

I'm ashamed to be a Democrat after this vote.

Kerry better not vote for it.

1. It's one of those demographic things
The all-important soccor mom and NASCAR dad crowd avidly support this kind of thing, and don't forget, politicians need votes.

2. Dennis Kucinch voted No.
I want Kucinich to be Speaker of the House someday.
