LIHOP = MIHOP. Same thing, Here's why.
It's time to realize there is no difference.

Suppose you came across evidence (a diary) that a co-worker was planning a murder of your boss. Would you report the plot to the police, or just let it happen and do nothing in the hope that the death of your boss would be a good career move?

Are you not just as guilty as the murderer, even though you let it happen on purpose?

1. you don't see a difference?
even among several people actively plotting to kill your boss, there's a difference between the ringleader and the followers; between the triggerman and the rest.

the idle witness is different still.

unless you mean that they're both "not 100% innocent", then yes, it's all the same.

6. BushCo. had the power to stop it though. Your office follower
probably did not, other than to try to convince the police. I have been firmly convinced for a long time that Bush and his fellow-PNACers are involved in the planning and execution of 9-11 so for me LIHOP is just part of MIHOP.

2. I've always felt there was a fine line between the two

and the distinction then only semantic, more than logical.

In not stopping the event they make it happen through a lack of action. Inaction can be just as devastating as action.

However, there are indications that there is more involved here than passive inaction.

3. Terry Nichols?
I didn't follow the Oklahoma City trial of Terry Nichols, but isn't he guilty because he didn't stop McVeigh?

4. you are guilty as an accomplice to murder
as far as i kno...

there is a difference between doing nothing, and doing something. because if everyone does nothing, something cannot be done

5. TIA, please do not blur this distinction

It is an important one that MUST BE MAINTAINED in order to get at the full truth.

Certainly if the Bush administration allowed the 9/11 plot to go forward without upholding their sworn duties to protect and defend the citizens of the United States, they are guilty of high crimes and treasons.

HOWEVER, MIHOP points to a deeper level of conspiracy. I will not be satisfied with simply exposing their 'tacit' complicity. We all know Bush is a puppet. FOR JUSTICE TO BE SERVED AND TO RIGHT OUR SINKING SHIP OF STATE WE MUST FIND OUT WHO IS PULLING HIS STRINGS.

I believe there is sufficient evidence to suspect HIGH TREASON and CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY by a CRIMINAL CLASS that is TRANS NATIONAL in scope. Uncovering this level of deception may not be possible--but we must NOT be satisfied that we have uncovered the truth and nothing but the truth by MERELY exposing the Bush administrations 'complicity by wilful ignorance' (LIHOP).

SOMEONE MADE THIS HAPPEN. Hand in glove or hand in sock puppet SOMEONE MADE THIS HAPPEN. Osama bin Laden acting alone COULD NOT have pulled this off. Period. The events of 9/11 were orchestrated, perpetrated, aided and abetted by persons under layers of DEEP COVER. THIS is the SNAKE that must be uncovered.

edited for clairty

7. Yes, MIHOP points to a theory that is designed to discredit us.
The idea that no plane hit the Pentagon, that the WTC had explosive charges set to go off, that the planes had missiles, are all outlandish accusations that are so easily ridiculed by Rush, Hannity, et. al. These ideas are promoted by unseen Right-Wing-consortium hands, or cottage industry looking for donations.

I can see Truthisall's anger. Did they order planes to stand down, thwart the FBI FISA applications, have the Anthrax ready? We don't know yet. So, it becomes a semantics game between Made it, Helped it, Let it.

There is some Made it in saying Let it, some Made it in saying Helped it. But, if Made it is going to open the naive listeners to reject any idea of Bush' culpability, please drop it.
