Some friends just returned from a week in Paris. I Admire their bravery for traveling to our beloved ally in this time Le Detente (non!). But what really struck me is their report of THREE big protest marches in the week they were there. Three in one week.

Did you hear anything about them? Everyone loves us everywhere, right? I've never felt so isolated from "reality." Thanks, Bush.

The French and other Europeans don't hate ordinary Americans. In my travels to Europe people always tell you they have nothing against American people--in fact they rather like some of us--but it's the Bush cartel they hate. The are intelligent enough to make the separation which is more than what the repugs are capable of when it comes to their attitudes about Europeans, Muslims or any "furr-eners."
