FRIDAY AFTERNOON WHOPPER we missed- airport security privatized
I have looked all over and but can't find a link BUT

Yesterday afternoon CBS radio reported that the FAA/Homeland Security will allow some airports to privatize security. They no longer will have to use TSA employees or follow security guidelines.

4. i think that clause has always been in the bill
that after a certain amount of time they could choose whatever outfit they wanted to provide 'security'.

the race to the bottom is all encompossing and makes 'PERFECT' capitalistic sense, i would be suprised only if it went the oter way, like when they voted to start with a federal program though they were wise to use the clause instead... remember PERCEPTION is EVEYTHING.

peace

5. a wk. ago one of the large airports was complaining that they wanted

to be able to hire private because the gov. people were not doing as good a job as the private people had.

9. Baaaaston, where they had all those scandals about security?
Let's face it. The only ones who want government employees are those nasty evil child-molesting commie Democrats. And they eat VEGETABLES too.

14. Ah, yes! Privatization. The taxpayer has put in all the new infrastructure
at all these airports around the country, trained a bunch of folks, and now we are going to turn it over to the equvalent of the Halliburton bunch. Jesus. When will we ever learn?

15. I keep think of Bush proposal that was going to be linked with
the Mexican immigration thing. It was to allow private companies to vouch for groups of people having a job and fly them in to do it. Wonder how long before a whole shit pile of "middle eastern" types will be the airport security force??? All I know is, these assholes don't give a rats ass about homeland security. They only care about "yo, corporation, can we rip some tax money off these dumb fuckers and give it to you?--come on down and get it".
