Eric Alterman, Joe Conason, David Corn, Mark Green, and William Hartung

Description: From St. Peter's Church in New York City, a panel discussion featuring five authors discussing President George Bush and his administration. The authors are all critical of President Bush and talk about their reasons for being so. The discussion is moderated by William Hartung of the World Policy Institute, author of "How Much Are You Making on the War, Daddy?: A Quick and Dirty Guide to War Profiteering in the Bush Administration." The event closes with remarks from Andrew Greenblatt of Truemajority.org.

3. I saw this earlier...
...and was a little disappointed simply because we DU-ers already know most of what these authors were presenting. We're ahead of the curve. Still worth watching Alterman tell his last anecdote, though.

4. You are right.
Many times over the last few years (since Selection 2000) I have looked forward to seeing someone on the media, or the release of a new book, or hearing a live speaker, only to be disappointed because I was better informed than they were.

An obsession with DU does have some negative consequences.
