Tampa Woman Accuses GOP Supervisor Of Race Discrimination

By WILLIAM MARCH
wmarch@tampatrib.com

TAMPA - A Tampa woman who works as a regional field director for the Florida Republican Party has filed a racial discrimination complaint with federal authorities.
Nadia Naffe contends a supervisor treated her unprofessionally, subjected her to criticism and humiliation in front of colleagues, and assigned her to work involving blacks simply because she is black.

The party's attorney, Richard Davison of Tallahassee, said Friday that his investigation concluded the allegations are unfounded.

Naffe is a former University of Tampa student who led the school's Republican club, said local party official Carol Carter, who noted she had given Naffe a recommendation for the party job.

Once again the Conservatives are charged to be racist. Anyone remember when the Christian Coalition was charged with racism by I think it was 11 black employees?

6. I do!
In my post below, I identified the organization as the Moral Majority, but I stand corrected. But I do recall the incident.

2. Well
Here is the dilemna with a lot of conservative-thinking minorities...especially if they are strong in practicing Christianity.

The GOP has done a stellar job in painting themselves to be the paragon party for Judeo/Christian virtue. Some blacks and hispanics who adhere strongly to those values are wooed over to the GOP for that reason.

I know of what I speak, because I was one of them. I grew up in a Democratic household and went over because I am a Christian, and since they "talked the talk" of inclusion and wanting to broaden the base of the party, I was talked into it.

I have since come back over to the Democratic side because of the racism that runs rampant and unchecked in the name of "free speech" and contrary to Judeo/Christian beliefs. I don't know how many times I contacted republicans of color, trying to get them to explain to me how THEY can subject themselves to the racism within the party. I think I only got one response, and what she said was to understand that "free speech" is a republican ideal and to not let it deter me from being involved in the party.

I could only tolerate so much of the comments before I ran back home.

All one needs to do (if they can bring themselves to do it) is to visit Lucianne.com and click on any news story where race is mentioned or is an issue (and I'm sure the racebaiters at Lucianne.com take advantage of doing just this very thing by posting said articles in the first place) and you will see firsthand what I mean.

4. I guess she hasn't figured out that they keep minorities in place
by making sweeping, derogatory statements about those minorities who dare to complain. Therefore, if you complain, you must be one of the "bad" minorities.

5. LOL!
As I pointed out before, Black Republicans seemingly don't talk to each other; otherwise she'd had gotten the 'word' from Shannon, JC, and that Black preacher (Republican) who worked for the Moral Majority in New York. But this is what I really find precious:

"The party's attorney, Richard Davison of Tallahassee, said Friday that his investigation concluded the allegations are unfounded."

Of course the allegations are unfounded! That's what 'they' said in California too!

LOL!
