ABC just showed the 1983 video in the story of the French lawyer who is going to call Rummy to the witness stand in Saddass's trial. I never thought I would see that video on TV news. Luv it!

Unless he made a miraculous recovery. He seemed fine to me (full head of hair, seemed to be at a good weight) when they captured him.

It's not cancer that causes wasting and hair loss - it's chemo and radiation therapy. Cancer causes wasting in its final stages, true enough, but if he has two years to live, that wouldn't be happening yet.

This is old news. The American People have such short memories that they are amazed whenever they realize that the republicans have been feeding them the same line of BS for decades. Wake up America!

Bush's cronies have been conducting business with the likes of Saddam for years. The neoconservatives resurrect the same political strategy every decade or so. It's the "Good Dictator-Bad Dictator Game". First we help then we fight these sleeze-balls. In the end it is always the powerful who win at the expense of the common man.

17. I saw that special about Cheney on ABC (cant remember the title )

but it showed Rumsfeld to be a pathological liar. Confronted with reality Rummy just shakes his head and denies the obvious. It clearly showed a maniacal control freak that lived on lies. The special gave him a little credit for turning a few private businesses around earlier in his career but clearly (IMO) destroyed him as a leader if honesty has anything at all to do with good leadership qualities.
