But I still think Peak oil is in the next 10 years. I have seen info confirming that outside of the panic we saw here.

I haven't checked out the poll yet, but I almost fell out of my chair when I saw that the HIGHEST price given in the whole state of New York over the last 3 1/2 days is almost exactly the same as the AVERAGE price here in Vegas. The lowest I've seen anywhere is $2.019 and the highest is still that Sinclair in my neighborhood at $2.259 for regular unleaded.

On edit: Okay I checked out the poll now. The results indicate that there are a LOT of morans in denial floating around.

I remember when I was driving out there last year. Everything west of Santa Fe was more expensive than NY.
