Uday Hussein was semi-paralysed?!
Mybe thi shas been hashed here before but I just read this concerning Saddam's son Uday Hussein:

"Two years older than Qusay, he is believed by some to be genuinely psychotic. Uday controls most Iraqi media as well as a paramilitary group called the Fedayeen. Uday, semi-paralysed after an assasination attempt in 1996, has a reputation as a brutal playboy. He has been repeatedly accused of raping and killing young women and of having a private torture chamber."

How "semi-paralysed" was Uday?

1. Not very, from what I understand
Took heavy damage in one leg and had several screws in it to stabilize. Always walked with a cane or braces or something.

4. Yes he was

an old Iraqi Shia group called the Hizb al-Dawa al-Islamiyya (Islamic Call Party, "al-Dawa" for short) tried to assassinate him in '96, but only half-succeeded. In the past several decades they've been fairly active in assassinations against Baath party figures. Decades back when Saddam was the US gov't's best buddy, al-Dawa were called "terrorists" by official state mythologists because they basically pioneered the human-bomb operation, but now they've got a guy on that 25-member puppet council.

I'm not sure "how paralysed" Uday was, but he was put in a wheelchair from it.

6. CNN has showed video of him getting out of a wheelchair to stand...
...for photographs. Someone needed to steady him into postition for the photos.
