will bush* throw condi overboard....sacrifice her ?

so many people are SHOCKED that nobody for fired for 9/11...the BIGGEST fubar ever by any pResident, and nobody was fired....

wolfowitz said today on CNN that condi must appear before 9/11 commission...that whole mess is lose-lose for bush*, who may well have to reverse his position under political pressure...the center is no longer holding....

as the cracks in bush* 'inner circle' become torrents of rushing water....will bush* fire condi as a sacrifice?

5. it happened with nixon....his own people turned against him....nixon's
'friends' decided to stay out of prison....as the whole nixonian highly secret criminal associates started to jump ship...rather suddenly, there was a rush to jump off the sinking ship....

and Richard Clarke, a real insider, sent the message BIG TIME to the White House staff...the message is: get out before YOU go to prison for the rest of your life....

for nixon...even the Attorney General (john mitchell) went to Federal Prison....

bush* people know the program...they are all criminals and will protect their own ass...the bush* cabal are not the 'sacrificing types', they will cover their own asses, even if it means treason against America.....

so watch carefully as the rats start to jump....usually the first that jump do the best (notice that Clarke has done real well so far, BIG top selling book, lots of TV appearance, Washington Post called him a 'bureaucratic hero' today...and he gets his full 30 year Federal retirement, and just created his new post-retirement career as a sought-after speaker and consultant....the other rats may not do so well...some will go to prison)....

3. Condi's safe
As long as she keeps lying to protect Bush*. In the * administration, you can be as incompetent as you want, as long as you're loyal. See example A, Tenet.

testify under oath or hooked up to a lie detector test. That would probably cause another east coast black out though.

Congress's commission of inquiry is due to report by July 26. If it is places disproportionate blame on Ms Rice, she might fall on her sword. But that is an unlikely scenario. The Bush family repays the loyalty of its acolytes. "She's very fond of the president, and he's very fond of her," said a senior Republican who knows her well. But he added: "She tends to be an impatient person and will certainly not stay on for four more years if the president wins re-election. She likes new challenges."

Would love to post a catty remark, but will refrain....

12. I think she will stay on message and take the hit for Bush
I have not seen any particular amount of creativity coming from Rice in any situation. She is a task oriented person and not a thinker, per se, and not particularly inclined to be an independant thinker either. I think she will be satisfied to keep lying and hope it will soon be all over and then she can retire in relative comfort for the rest of her miserable life.

so they will drown together.

If she were fired, it would blow apart everything they are trying to cover up.

14. anybody BUT her can go
for several reasons.

Firstly, the office. She knows too much.
Secondly, the personal side, again she knows too much.

Cheney would go before she did.

Rove would go before her.

17. Therein Lies the Rock and the Hard Place!
Condi's ONLY protection right now, as flimsy as it is, is she's an advisor to the President and therefore can't testify. Once she's no longer an advisor, she's no longer protected.

She's fucked any way you cut it. The longer she doesn't testify, the worse it looks and the longer it's a story. If she testifies, she's fucked because she'll have to lie under oath and she would be totally busted. If she's fired, she has no reason anymore NOT to testify.
