Condi Takes The Fall For George
She can't testify under oath because to do so would require her to lie in order to defend George W. Bush. So instead she goes on 60 minutes and takes heat for 20 minutes about, you got it, not testifying. Which is then seized upon by the national media as a whole, where she is then neatly chopped to pieces for appearing to be less than forthcoming about the series of events that led to the murder of 3,000 Americans.

When you come from as rarified and patrician a backround as George W. Bush, you are bred to believe that blame is something always assigned to the help.

Condi Rice is allowing herself to be publically burned in order to preserve the illusion that george W. Bush actually spent more than 5 minutes being concerned about terrorism before 9/11.

Poor Condi. So much sacrificed for so little.

2. Poor Condi my ass. This woman is no prize. Look at how very little it
takes for her to sell out her country. A position in an administration of liars and thieves. She's supposedly and educated woman. Educated in the Cold War and Russia. Then she, more than the others, should be able to see what a bunch of crap this administration is. And just how much it resembles the old crew from the USSR. Hell, they even use the same tactics, lies, intimidation, and threats.

4. It would be funny if they fire her ass then she comes out...
And says that everything Clarke said was true but she was forced to lie by the administration.

5. Poor Condi?
She is a calculating manipulator with a perpetual whiny-apologetic-lecturing voice. She never tells the truth, even by mistake.

7. As a very wise Republican Sec. of Treasury once said...
When dealing with the Bushies, one must pay "the price of loyalty."

9. Which is why in this case pity...
...would be far more effective politically than rage.

Don't let Condi take the fall. The real fault lies with the "president."

10. Why did Berger testify?
On 60 Minutes tonight Rice stated that never has a National Security Adviser testify in front of Congress on policy matters. During the hearings Richard Ben-Veniste stated that Sandy Berger testified twice during the 1990's.

Was Berger the National Security Adviser when he testified?
and
Did Berger testify on policy matters during those two Commissions?

If Berger did testify, why did Ed Bradley let Rice off the hook? Pity for being Georgie's Girl?

12. Just watching the witch now.
I'm flabbergasted. I don't mind Ed Bradley's approach, just letting her talk. This is more damning than any tough questions he should choose to ask. I'm too mad to even comment right now. :nuke: :nuke: :nuke:
