NASCAR and Triplett v. Boucher in Virginia
Not to bring up NASCAR again, but I was bored and checked into opensecrets.org to look up drivers and who they contribute to. Not being a huge fan, I could only look up those I could think of (about 10, plus Darrel Waltrip and Joe Gibbs) and found that most contributed money to a dude named Kevin Triplett in Virginia who is running against an incumbent. I wonder why they are all interested in that particular race? Anyone have any theories?

P.S. None that I could find gave any money to any dems (or Ralph Nader).

The people I searched: Ricky Craven, Joe Gibbs, Kurt Busch, Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Dale Jarrett, Joe Gibbs, Michael Waltrip, Darrel Waltrip.
