Imus rant: Simon & Schuster liberal publisher
He said Simon & Schuster published Clarke's book to promote its liberal agenda and bring down the Bush Administration.

1. and all those books during the Clinton Admin?
Were just reporting the, *ahem*, facts and had absolutely no political agenda. Fair & balanced all...

2. IF I'm not mistaken they are in the business of making money
and since the NYT bestseller list is loaded with "liberal" books maybe they are on to something.

The market will decide.

5. Pot Meet Kettle...Whose Your Guests, Don???
Almost everyone that comes on this show is shilling something...and Imus rolls over like a puppy to let them get their plugs in...especially authors. Whose he crappin'???

Didn't Simon & Schuester publish crap about Clinton? It's all about making a buck.

This killing the messenger is going over with a thud in many places...as the big question still is about what happened on 911 and the issues Clarke raises. These are questions that haven't been touched and won't go away. Imus, of all people, should be very sympathetic to Clarke considering where's he originating from and his own past of being demonized for his own actions.

Stern is on a roll these days (I joke he's turned into the anti-Rush)...completely blew Ms. Rice's tap dancing out of the water and going back to how her refusing to testify put New York lives in danger. They bored Ed Bradley & CBS News an a-hole for how softly they treated her and didn't defend Clarke. Now is this world going crazy or what?

6. But........isn't Imus supporting Kerry?
Yeah......I'll BET he is...when hell freezes over. He'll probably vote for the Chimp but he's too embarrassed to admit it. LOL

8. But what was the basis for his claim?
I checked the Simon & Schuster website, simonsays.com, and the offering looks fairly balanced. Just a quick glanced revealed that Bush at War, Compassionate Conservatism by Marvin Olasky, and All the Best by George H.W. Bush were all published by Simon & Schuster.
