5. Did You Read Ted Rall's Columns on Afghanistan?

He was there during the war. And unlike most other journalists, he was not under military protection. The one I remember best began "Last night they came to kill me." He did not answer the pounding on the door, so the gunmen went down the block and murdered a Swedish journalist.

Ted Rall has seen a lot, and his anger comes from exposure to violence and deceit.

I believe Mr. Rall has a valuable POV to offer - I do think, however, that Mr. Rall, like all pundits left or right, should be taken with a grain of salt. Or at least an awareness that his POV represents an extreme.

and *they* think Rall is an ass-wipe, as well as possibly unbalanced. He's convinced that Art Spiegalman (the author of Maus) has created a conspiracy against him to prevent him from being hired by mainstream magazines, and he sued a fellow cartoonist for playing a practical joke on him.

the map is exactly right. My stepson says the anger is horrendous where he is, the people hate them, he doesnt sleep all night because of the anger and screaming of the prisoners (i.e. 12,800 civilians held without charges, women, men , old people)
its bad folks, and they hate us more and more every day over there.
