Nader just said to vote for Kerry

12. kerry needs to do what gore didn't

give him a place in the fold. enough concessions to nader will only be good for us. environmental, big business, safety on the job - it's all good for us. nader knows he doesn't have a chance. so how much would it take. i believe it wouldn't take as much as he may have wanted last time around. that's if i'm supposing correctly about why he's running. i just feel he wants some concessions and i hope he gets them. that would put lots of daylight between the two parties, in the eyes of the greens and other progressives.

...when he selected Liberman as his running mate. I'm no Nader person by any stretch, but when he selected him, a lot of my friends who were going to go with Gore, went with Nader as a "protest vote". Looks like that happened all across the country. Gore ran an extremely sloppy campaign.

IOW, Nader said "If you're not going to vote for me, then don't vote for Bush*" Nader has "generously" giving Kerry the votes Kerry has already earned. Just like Nader says he will be meeting with Kerry next month, when the truth is that Nader asked for a meeting, but Kerry has yet to respond.

and I agree. If it is true that he is setting up a meeting with Kerry, he might announce shortly thereafter that he is dropping out of the race.

I honestly can't see how he'll continue to run with so little support by anyone. And he probably knows that most of those who are now saying that they would vote for Nader will vote for Kerry come November. I think for some Nader supporters it is important to make a point. Some feel that the Democratic party is neglecting issues important to them.

But when election day comes around, the fear of 4 more Bush years will be greater than their dislike of Kerry.
