Did Wolf Blitzer said WH Insiders on Clarke "weird aspects" his life?

I just heard a liberal talk host - Lynn Cullen in Pittsburgh say she heard that yesterday Blitzer talking of WH insiders saying Clarke just wants to make some $$$$'s with his book that there are some "weird aspects" to Clarke's personal life?

She was pointing out that so-called neutral or "liberal" CNN was doing the WH's propaganda work for them.

What's Rove about to stoop to now? I've heard the Freepers are all repeating that Clarke is gay.

Is that if indeed Blitzer was referring to alleged homosexuality as something "weird", that's a bigger story than anything to do with Clarke.

Then again, CNN trots out the Family Research Council to give their hate speech anytime a gay issue is discussed on CNN, so a homophobic remark here and there probably isn't too shocking.

"weird personal life"....Wolf asked someone he was talking to (I forget who) if they had heard the rumours....He didn't say what the rumours were but hinted they were nasty. I believe the person said they hadn't heard anything. I listen to so much lately it's hard to keep it all straight, but Wolf is so obviously biased towards the right....

BLITZER: Well, John, I get the sense not only what Dr. Rice just said to you and other reporters at the White House, but what administration officials have been saying since the weekend, basically that Richard Clarke from their vantage point was a disgruntled former government official, angry because he didn't get a certain promotion. He's got a hot new book out now that he wants to promote. He wants to make a few bucks, and that his own personal life, they're also suggesting that there are some weird aspects in his life as well, that they don't know what made this guy come forward and make these accusations against the president.

Is that the sense that you're getting, speaking to a wide range of officials?

KING: None of the senior officials I have spoken to here talked about Mr. Clarke's personal life in any way. But they offer a very mixed picture. They say that he was a very dedicated, a very smart member of the senior White House staff, that he was held over because of his expertise in the Clinton administration on terrorism issues and the Bush administration, these officials say, wanted a smooth transition.

27. I got a stack of about 10 books now I'm trying to read

doing about 10 pages per book for as many as I can get in per night before it's time to go to sleep. All of them are heavily post-it noted.

Starting to personally feel I'm keeping the publishers in business. But I want to reward authors who write these books. It is a nice feeling compared to last year when all that was out was liberal-bashing books.

I've already got Brock's book pre-ordered.
