Plagiarist BARNICLE Forced to Apologize for "Mandingo" Reference
How do scum like him, Dick MORRIS, Gordon LIDDY, Oliver NORTH, et al., get rehabilitated and even REWARDED. Not a question. Why wasn't he subjected to the criminal possibility in link #2.

CINEMA 101

DAILY News columnist Mike Barnicle doesn't know his movies. The Bostonian, who has a show on Beantown's WTKK Radio, referred to "Mandingo" last week while talking about the marriage of former Secretary of Defense William Cohen, who is white, and his wife, former broadcaster Janet Langhart, who is black. Barnicle apologized Friday, saying he meant no offense. But he still didn't seem to realize the 1975 trashterpiece - starring Ken Norton, the heavyweight who broke Muhammad Ali's jaw - was about a black man who has sex with a white woman, not the other way around.

Could Kelley be prosecuted for alleged USA Today misdeeds?

Two weeks after revealing that former reporter Jack Kelley committed "sweeping and substantial" journalistic fraud, USA Today is studying whether he could face criminal prosecution because of his actions. ....

After Jayson Blair resigned from The New York Times last May because of plagiarism, the paper documented widespread fabrications in his work. And the U.S. Attorney's office in Manhattan asked the paper for information about Blair, The Times reported.

Times spokeswoman Catherine Mathis said then that the Justice Department was trying to determine "whether Jayson Blair's reporting conduct violated the law." But The Times provided no documents, heard nothing more, and the matter was presumably dropped.

2. "Make-it-up Barnicle got off easy because no one listens to his show
What's disgraceful is he claims the two as friends. So what's with the mandingo quote? I wonder if they are at home questioning who needs friends like Barney.
