This guy was great, said he believed Clarke for the most part and really kept bringing up the point that Clarke said about the memo from Jan and the one from Aug...that those need to be compared - there is the evidence...that panel better be asking her!!!

He also said that the War has complicated the war on terror and Wolff kept saying that isn't Saddam gone good??? He said we should have been more patient... Wolff had no answer - "gotta leave it there..."

I was critiquing them back in the 80's for their pro-Reagan/Bush/Quayle bias. It was horrible.

I think the reason we've seen so many threads with CNN outrages this week is how they've shown their true stripes during the Clarke controversy, frantically spinning and showing utter panic at the thought of the Boy King being taken down.

Contrast this with the clock display during Clinton's grand jury testimony. It's enough to make you vomit.

Wolf tried every which-a-way to disposess him of this. My reaction as I watched was "JEEZ, Wolf hates Democrats."

Obviously, he's receiving, and transmitting, ONLY one side of the story, obviously from the White House spin-doctors. Does he realize that this same White House had Clarke's book for months and fully vetted and signed off on it - on their own timetable, BEFORE it reached the publisher? Does Blitzer realize that the 9/11 hearings were extended BEYOND THE CONTROL OF a) this White House, b) Clarke's publisher, and c) Clarke himself? And, by the way, over White House objections? Does Blitzer realize that, if the White House had had its way, there wouldn't be any 9/11 hearings - AT ALL??? And if so, WHY AREN'T THESE FACTS REFLECTED IN BLITZER'S DISCOURSE? And has Blitzer EVEN READ CLARKE'S BOOK? If not, I'll be glad to send him a copy...

I can somewhat understand how you guys want to start emulating the Fox Network, but really, we already have the Fox Network. You guys should at least try to present an alternative.
